Effective date: July 18, 2026. These terms apply to the Japan Trip Planners website, accounts, digital products, memberships, and planning tools.
Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using Japan Trip Planners, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the website, planning tools, memberships, or digital products.
Accounts and acceptable use
You are responsible for information submitted through your account and for keeping account credentials secure. You may not misuse the site, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with service availability, scrape protected content, or use Japan Trip Planners for unlawful activity.
Travel information
Travel information, schedules, prices, routes, operating hours, entry rules, and availability can change. You are responsible for confirming time-sensitive details with the relevant official provider before booking or traveling. Japan Trip Planners provides planning support and does not replace official travel advice.
Digital products
Purchased travel guides are licensed for the buyer's personal use. They may not be resold, republished, shared publicly, copied for commercial use, or distributed to others. All travel guide sales are final. Because guides are downloadable digital goods delivered immediately, refunds are not offered.
Premium membership
Premium memberships provide the benefits described on the Premium page for the selected billing period. All Premium sales are final, and refunds are not offered because membership provides immediate access to digital services and SaaS features. Members may cancel through their account at any time. Cancellation stops future renewal billing but does not refund the current billing period, and it changes itinerary, credit, and feature access according to the cancellation policy displayed on the Premium page.
Payments
Prices are shown in the currency stated at checkout. Payment processing is handled by an authorized payment provider. You are responsible for applicable taxes, payment details, and charges approved through your account.
Affiliate links
Some travel-resource links are affiliate links. Japan Trip Planners may earn a commission when a qualifying purchase is made through those links, at no extra cost to the traveler. Partner prices, terms, and availability are controlled by the partner.
Intellectual property
The Japan Trip Planners name, branding, written content, guide materials, interface designs, and original planning resources are owned by Japan Trip Planners or used with permission. No rights are transferred except the limited personal-use rights expressly provided with a product or service.
Service availability
Japan Trip Planners may update, suspend, limit, or discontinue a feature when reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, legal compliance, or product improvement. We may also update these terms and will identify the effective date of material revisions.
